Joel  J. Kofsky, Esq. was graduated from The George Washington University School of Business with a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Accountancy. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law.

While serving as an associate in Tax Research and Planning for Ernst & Young, Mr. Kofsky concentrated on the areas of tax compliance, and tax research. He then turned his attention to creating his own legal practice, The Law Offices of Joel Kofsky in Philadelphia, PA.  In practice as a plaintiff’s attorney for 18 years, Joel has focused largely on contingent fee agreements to serve those clients who are ordinarily without the means for representation.

As a Real Estate Developer, Mr. Kofsky has built single, multifamily and condominium residential properties along the New Jersey shore as well as  Pennsylvania. Additionally, Joel is a licensed realtor and in these ventures has been involved in numerous 1031 exchanges.
